The ESU/Zilla Electronic Temperature Controller promotes a healthy, stress-free living environment for reptiles and amphibians by allowing hobbyists to select and maintain the ideal temperature. Simply plug your heat source (incandescent lamp, heat emitter, etc.) into the controller and set the desired temperature. The unit will turn the heat source on and off to maintain the desired temperature. This state-of-the-art controller is a thermostatic device that will maintain any preselected temperature between 68F and 95F. It incorporates a unique safety shutoff protector that self-actuates at 110F.

The Pro Exotics PE-2 Infrared Temp Gun adds a few more advanced features than our PE-1, but retains a great retail price of just $55 (completely unbeatable in the infrared temp gun world!). The PE-2 unit adds a much requested red sighting laser, and an expanded temperature range to 662F (easily switchable to 350C). The PE-2 has an adjustable emissivity setting for precise calibration, and perhaps best of all, a tight infrared "cone" distance to spot ratio (D:S) of 6:1. That means at a distance of 6 inches, you are reading an area just 1 inch in diameter. At a distance of 2 feet, an area of just 4 inches, as compared to our wider D:S ratio of 1:1 on the PE-1 unit.
